Delightful sand beach on a small cove. The AG zoning on this lot allows 2 houses, one main house and an ohana of less than 1000 sq. ft. It is about a 1 minute walk from the main house site to the water. There is a great ocean view. The Ranchlands subdivision has a minimum lot size of 5 acres, which means the shore has a very private feel to it. There is great fishing from the shore, especially for large ulua (Giant Jack Crevelle), some of which weigh over 50 pounds. The Ranchlands is an extremely quiet place to live, teeming with birds and axis deer. There is almost no traffic, and the roads are perfect for walking, running, and cycling. Snorkeling is great off the shore: lobster can be harvested in season, spearfishing is allowed, and shellfish like opihi are common. Golf carts are commonly used to visit the store or neighbors. Molokai has only 7000 people, there are no traffic jams, and there are not any stoplights or 4-way stops! Driving Instructions: From the wharf or the airport, turn west on the highway, and go past the 14 mile marker and turn right at the next intersection. Stay on Kalua Koi Road down the hill, past a sweeping curve to the left, and past the condominiums on your right. Keep on past a blue and white Papohaku Beach Park sign on your right. Continue to a TEE junction and stop. Turn right and go 0.7 miles to a beach access drive on your right. Lot 212 runs from the main road to the beach on your right.
